Dig With the Spade Given You
A poem
Forgive me, I must commit cliche: Just keep going. Time is a rune that you craft, But can't control. So keep on a' going, and dig With the spade given you, And rope the lost mule. Lead her back to good pasture. It's a serious business, heavy-- This taking lightly the load. A life with the easy yoke isn't for The light of heart. It's for you. So why lament the shadows While sitting in them yourself? Forgive me, I must wax poetic. Fight for the heavy light, the glory.

This poem offered me some much-needed encouragement. Thank you!
